MSTN

MSTN，即肌生长抑制素，是一种在哺乳动物肌肉骨骼系统中起关键调控作用的分泌性蛋白，属于TGF-β超家族成员。其结构包括N-末端的分泌信号肽和半胱氨酸结构。MSTN通过与其受体结合，抑制肌肉细胞的生长、分化和增殖，从而调控肌肉的发育。在信号转导过程中，MSTN与胞质内受体形成复合物，进而激活Smads蛋白，使其磷酸化并进入细胞核调节靶基因表达。此外，MSTN还涉及MAPK和p38等信号通路的转导，对肌肉细胞增殖周期产生影响。MSTN的复杂结构和功能使其在生物学和医学领域具有广泛的应用前景，尤其在肌肉生长调控、疾病治疗及肉化剂开发等方面。
